Reform Environmental and Social Consulting Africa Limited (RESCA) is expanding its On-Call Expert Roster for upcoming assignments across Africa. We work on high-impact projects funded by the World Bank, IFC, EIB, AfDB, KfW, EU, USAID, JICA, GCF, and private sector developers in the water, energy, climate, infrastructure, and social development sectors.

We invite qualified and experienced professionals to join our pool of project-based experts.

Environmental & Climate Experts

Roles: ESIA studies, ESDD, audits, climate risk assessments, biodiversity surveys, due diligence.
Required Qualifications:

MSc/BSc in Environmental Studies or related field
NEMA Lead/Associate Expert License
5–15 years experience in donor-funded environmental assessments
Familiarity with WB ESF, IFC PS, EIB Standards, AfDB ISS

Social Development & Safeguards Experts

Roles: Social assessments, RAP/ARAP planning, stakeholder engagement, FPIC, gender/GBV assessments, livelihood planning.
Required Qualifications:

Degree in Social Sciences, Sociology, Anthropology or related field
5–15 years experience in social safeguards
Proven experience with WB ESS1–10 and IFC Performance Standards

Engineering, Water, Energy & Technical Specialists

Roles: Feasibility studies, technical assessments, design inputs, due diligence for infrastructure and energy projects.
Required Qualifications:

Degree in Civil, Water, Environmental, or Energy Engineering
EBK registration (where applicable)
Sector experience in water/sanitation, solar, wind, hydro, or climate resilience projects

Cross-Cutting & Support Experts

GIS & Remote Sensing Specialists
Biodiversity & Ecology Experts
OHS/NEBOSH-Certified Safety Officers
Public Health Specialists
Climate Finance & Carbon Markets Consultants
MEL/Results-Based Management Experts

General Requirements for All Experts

Proven experience working on donor-funded projects in Africa
Strong report writing and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and deliver under tight timelines
Language: Excellent English; French/Portuguese is an asset
